Earlier this month, Cans for Kids took part in the International Day of Climate Action by organizing an event to sort and package 350 kilos of aluminum cans. The event was a huge success by any standards, and Cans for Kids is at it again. This time they are organizing an event at their Nicosia facility in support of International Volunteer Day.

Cans for Kids committee member, Rosie Charalambous, admits, “it’s slightly messy work” — but the combination of refreshments, proper gloves and good-hearted people have volunteers coming back to help every Saturday.

So, mark your calendars for December 5th and get ready to get messy for a good cause!
