Sharing is Caring…Unless You’re Sick
Flu season has arrived, and it seems impossible to avoid the daily regurgitation of flu tips and propaganda. With the outbreak of this season’s pandemic H1N1, in addition to the seasonal flu, people appear to be on high alert — are you prepared for the flu season?
The Cyprus Ministry of Health has launched a free H1N1 flu vaccination program at 19 vaccination centers around the island. The program will provide H1N1 flu vaccinations until December 12th. Residents may visit the vaccination centers every Monday through Saturday, in the mornings, as well as two afternoons a week. For more information, contact the Ministry of Health or your general doctor.
Most recognized health organizations around the world have recommended the safe use of vaccinations — but getting vaccinated is a personal choice. Stay informed and speak with your doctor to make the best possible choice for you and your family.
