The Gift of Reading (KidCulture Preview)

Submitted by Mio Shibata Georgiou on November 3, 2009 – 3:14 pmNo Comment

KidCulture Magazine Summer09Recently, I wrote an article for the next issue of Cyprus family magazine KidCulture. KidCulture is as informative as it is hip — you’ll find everything from the latest clothing trends for babies and mums to interviews with education pioneers in Cyprus.

The theme of the article I wrote was the importance and benefits of reading to and with our children. In the next week or so, I will publish the full article on CypriotLiving.

As a lead up to the full article, I will publish several posts on CypriotLiving with tips on how to deal with these difficult questions and books that can help you and your child deal with these situations.

Here are the topics I will cover:
_Bullying & Self-Esteem
_Death
_Sexuality
_Health & Sickness
_Family (Divorce, Adoption, etc)

If you have any comments or topic requests, feel free to send us a shout at mail[at]cypriotliving.com or leave a comment below.
