Whether you are moving to Cyprus or just visiting, I can’t stress how important it is to know a bit of Greek before you get here. While many Cypriots have some conversational knowledge of English, the level of fluency is low. If you are able to throw in a couple of local words, you’ll find your way around much easier, and your time here much more enjoyable.
